The stock location is on a mounting bracket on the exhaust side shock tower. Most people mount them on the intake side shock tower. Since a lot of people just mount them directly to the unibody, you'll have to drill holes as there aren't any predrilled holes specifically for the ignitor.

I personally like to use the holes that the cruise control actuator used to bolt to. It's out of the way, relatively flat, and you can use one hole and drill out the other one.

I thought I had more pics with it on there but this is the only one I could find. They all have them mounted somewhere on or near the passenger side shock tower. This one isn't mounted on anything but you get the general idea.

Thanks guys, one more thing. How/where do the pigtails wire into?

The 5 pin pigtail comes directly from the ECU and the 4 pin pigtail goes to the coil pack subharness. It's all routed through the EFI harness normally.
