s13 ignition fuse blown ?

well for the past week or so ive been trying to find the problem in my s13. it keeps blowing the 30a ignition fuse everytime i turn the key to the "on" position and i have yet to isolate the problem yet.i traced almost all the wires and found no wires to be cut.

i replaced the battery and got it to start for a second but again it blew the fuse.could it be the ground to the battery because right after i installed the new battery everything worked again (the battery cable was previously all covered in acid and i cleaned it off)also could the alternator or starter be causing my problem? (anyway of testing it in the car?)
