s13 hud with my CA

now I have a problem, for some reason my hud doesnt work. Its a 1992 s13 coupe originally an auto it worked with the original ka harness. So i took my ca harness from my old 90 s13 hatch that was sadly crushed by a tree and it doesnt work!!! I redid the harness for the dash connector and just cant figure it out.. so can someone please chime in and help me out...

so no one knows if there is any difference in the wiring harness between a 90 s13 or a 92? or about wiring up the hud? I know someone knows...

I have HUD in my 89 hatch. I just swapped in the instrument cluster and the wiring harness that goes with it and it works. If it doesn't, then its probably the cluster itself causing problems. Does the tach work? Have you used the unit before and know the speedo works and everything?

yeah everything worked before bit Im also having a new problem the other day I was messing with the lower harness and the positive side touched the chassis and sparked and I lost all power to everything no power to everything also the motor is not in there just the harness. I also noticed that the acc relay clicks and gets hot so I dont have any clue what to do right now Ive been looking to see if there is a main relay or something ... but I just need a couple ideas on what to check out....

turned out to be the 75amp alternator fuse causing me not to get any power. but Im still having a problem with my dash not working and my ecu is not getting any power someone please help and also if you have an extra CA wire harness for sale lemme know

Man, if the harness grounded out in a spectacular fashion, as you claim, its effed. Wires somewhere have melted and you need to replace the whole thing. This would be the reason nothing in your car works.

anyone have one for sale?? But the engine harness didn't ground out it was the lower harness unless your talking about the chassis harness. Also are all the chassis harnesses the same or would I have to get one from a 92 auto with hud? or will one from a base model s13 work?
