S13 HUD

I ordered a S13 heads up display that came with the hud and the dash, but i was wondering about the windshield. Do I need a special windshield or is just a little sticker that I put on the regular windshield? If it is a special windshield do I have to buy it for nissan?

i have hud on my coupe and it is a special windshield not a sticker...but idk maybe a sticker would work also?

yes the windshield is special the reflector is laminated inside the glass. I havnt personally researched it, but ive heard its in the $700 range which is probly a bit over double that of a normal windshield. I hope mine never gets broke

a piece of 20% mirror smoke tint works better than the stock sticker thing. ive had both on my hatch, and i prefer the small piece of tint.

over any months, i decided a 3"x5" piece works best, just to help you out.
