s13 hood wont open

alright so my hood wont openi think the wire that is connected to the hood latch is not connected to the latch anymore and i cant figure out a way to get my hood open.

anyone had this problem before?what did you do?

Yeah, my latch spring was rusted though. I had my brother hold the open switch from withing the car and I pushed on the hood a couple times until it popped.

After we got it open I sprayed with with 10-30 and it fixed my problem.

If your cable is broken you'll beable to tell from your very easy to pull interior switch.

i dont think my wire is broken, im sure it just came loose because it did before and i put it back on but when that happen i was replaceing both of my headlights so it was easier

do you think i can jack up the car and pull the latch switch from there on?

Yeah, I was able to reach up from under the bumper with a 10mm socket and remove two of the three bolts from the hood latch and get it open. Turned out to be that the cable had popped out of the latch.
