Hey guys, been out of the 240 game for a while and have just got back in... I have been looking forever for a hood I like and cannot make a decision! Im looking for a quality carbon hood and have been leaning towards either an OEM seibon or one of the crazy styles they have... I would love to see some pics of some seibon or vis hoods or perhaps another company???

Also any thoughts or ideas on what to do as far as hood is concerned... car currently has full kit wide front and rear and just ordered some black wheels with chrome lips, currently flat black but leaning towards white when it gets new paint.

THANKS

I have a Seibon DVII hood and it is ok. I had to modify the hood latch to get the front to stay down (BTW don't forget hood pins for CF and fiberglass hoods). As far as fitment goes, the gap between the fenders and hood has increase from stock 1/8" to about 1/4". It is not too noticeable but for perfectionists it would be bothersome. Honestly if I could turn around and sell this hood I would try VFiber CF hoods as it seems that they use a better process/materials for making their CF hoods. For Seibon I give them a 7/10 which is fair on my scale. I would like to see quality and fitment of other companies though especially VFiber.

Fitment will def be an issue as everything forward of my doors will be aftermarket... got an good pics? That was my first hood choice but saw one pic on a car I wasn't crazy about...

Honestly pictures don't do justice for my hood. When I first got it I ONLY jumped on it because they wanted $200 plus my stock hood and I was only partial to the DVII design. But when I installed it on my car I fell in love with it. Not saying that you NEED to get the DVII hood, I am just saying if you can, try to check out as many hoods in person before making a decision because these are pretty expensive.

Your rarely see any 240s with anything besides a oem or oem carbon... that's why I was hop?ing to get some good pics on here

A lot of the hoods like vis usually don't even have a hoop pictured for the 240 and most look different on a car... common guys throw some pics up!
