S13 Higher Gear

Since my last thread was bruttaly disrupted I'm posing this question again.

A taller rear end (3.69) will stretch out the gears by 10%. I'm thinking that it might be nice to be able to hold 1st & 2nd a while longer while the turbo is doing its thing. My car is a road toy, not a strip car and while playing, I often like to ride one gear down. I don't want to bog it too much though.

I have calculated the final 1st gear ratio and it is withing normal ratios (~12.25) for a car with decent power.

Has anyone ever tried anything like this?
