S13 hesitating

I just bought a great S13 with in stock condition with 140k from an old lady. It runs great, but for one problem, it hesitates slightly around 2000 to 3000 rpm while just cruising. The car is good and strong otherwise and idles fine. I already replaced the O2 sensor and fuel filter, just cause they were easy fixes, but no joy. Any suggestions?

cap, rotor, knock sensor, new wires. Also check for codes before you start buying things.

I already replaced wires cap and rotor first thing when I bought the car, because they were pretty shot. How can I check codes?

do a search, i know its been brought up and its on 240sx.org i think. also check the maf, it may need to be cleaned because of the aiv or normal build up. the aiv my have gone bad ( they always do) so just plug it. and if you do clean the maf, use brake cleaner and dont spray it directly on the hot wire.
