Ok, here's what happend:

The passenger headlight stopped working out of the blue. I never had highbeams to begin with.

We change out both headlights. Still only the driver side headlight works.

So I take apart the headlight switch, clean all the dirty contacts, put it back in, and now I have driver side headlight, and highbeam, but still nothing at all on the passenger side.

So I take out the battery to look and see if I crushed/broke any wires putting it back in when I was working on my alternator, nothing.

A friend tested the Ohms on each of the 3 female inputs on the headlight plug on both sides, we determine one plug isn't getting power when it should be on the passenger side.

I put everything back together as I need to get home, the sun is setting and I still have one headlight. I get in the car. No headlights, no highbeams. Still have interior and parking lights.

I've tested 4 lights on the driver side which WAS working, and I get nothing. I know at very least 2 of the headlights are good.

I've checked the 15A fuses, they are fine.

Can anyone offer come insite into what happend between the headligh and highbeam working, and plugging it back in and it now not working? I really don't understand what COULD have even happend.

Aguess here is your switch is still no good. turn on your headlights and try wiggling the switch turning it on and off rapidly and see if you get any response at the lights by watching for them to light up on a wall or something.

I have sort of the same problem. High beams work on both, low beams only work on drivers side. Might be a relay problem.

So, what is the solution? Did you end up replacing the switch? I tried what Nistech suggested and I can eventually get the passenger headlight to come on by toggling the switch, but it will suddenly turn off a short while later. Is there a way to fix this without replacing the switch? Thx.

Has anyone else with this problem found a fix?
