,s13 headlight repair

Hey guys,

Just like the title says i need help with my headlight on the driver side. I bought the car in fairly good condition, but later found out as i was tooling around with the car that it seems to have been in a front end collision. The driver side headlight seemed to be refitted with spacers and such on the top and new holes were drilled above and slightly to the right of the stock holes fo the bottom.

I was in an accident a year ago and managed to take off the spacers and stuff and although the headlight was slightly off at least it closed relatively flush.

fast forward to the present, i was tooling around with the car again to make it fit better, but the best i could do was get it to close with a 2inch gap! I mean if i meant to do sleepy eyes it would look really good, but io dont! Now i can't even get it back to "mediocre" fitment

has anyone had similar problems? Should i just get a headlight conversion!?!? please share.

I FIXED IT! I AM A DIY PIMP!

The thing was, that i forgot that i removed the 15mm nut from the motor to adjust the lock nuts on the tie rod looking thing and that offset the lifting arm to be constantly up when the headlight were supposed to be down, but "sleepy" when they were supposed to be up!!

Cliffnotes:

-readjusted 15mm nut close to motor-adjusted lifting rod length-tweaked motor to have proper rotation

= stock fitment!

I fixed it better than the original body shop did when the previous owner got into an accident! They should hire my butt
