Im having some problems with my headlights. Only one of them is working. The driver side works fine, but the pass side, gets no power at all, and when i turn on the HI Beams, the driver side goes off.I went out and did an electric test. there is no power reaching the pass side, but when i switch to Hi Beams, i got a very dim light from the tester.

Does anyone know, what the problem is. I checked all the fuses, there all fine. Is there a relay or a light switch besides the one on the steering wheel column. Please help me, i need both light working.

Damn, I have this SAME exact problem too, but on my car, one of the small, yellow front lights dont work- I'm thinking about just going to a yard and maybe pulling a light.

It's just interesting how we all have the same problem, lol

You mean only 1 is working as in going up & down and not light wise right?

I think ppl were trying to help you from another post you had too .

Anyway, here's some more thoughts:

Since driver's side works fine, passenger side doesn't

relays for headlight controls are located around the intake box area, you'll see a box w/ like 8 relays in them.

Swap the driver's side relay w/ the passenger side relay

See if that fixes your problem (it should since it seems your motor is probably fine).

If it does, you can either go to junkyard and look for relays or go to me, i got an extra set (relays and motors) for cheap in socal .

^^^^ That is more than likely the problem. I had this about 6 months ago and doing what that thread talks about is exactly what fixed it. It only takes about an hour start to finish.

Good write up.

this is the exact issue I am having except my switch somewhat works still. I can get low beams on both lights, but not high beams on drivers side. One thing I did notice though is that if I pull the switch in and then to high my driver's side will work then. I don't always have this issue, but I know its about time to replace it now.
