s13 headlamps stay up

Just bought a 1990 s13 and the lights wont go down if i take the motor out and put it down manually then when i press the switch itll come up but stay up any suggestions or help would be great

Check those headlight retract relays on the fuse block in the engine bay near the battery, there's one for the left and the right.
