I really don't want to buy 4x6 speakers for my gfs s13 hatchback. Has anyone done modifications to their s13 to fit bigger speakers? I found mounting kits for the front, will they work or does the door need to be cut?
About the rear speakers, is there anything that can be done to fit bigger speakers (atleast 5")

For the front just make a template or you can search .....hint .hint there is one around here make template, put it on the front and it works well. Now for the back spkrs. I have heard of some people putting 6x9 but you have to cut some sheet metal. Or i have seen some people use the hatch cover. For the hatch cover you can put any size you want.

About the rear she doesn't have a hatch cover, nor what it be applicable for her since she has to put her massage table in all the time. I'll try searching for the template your talking about.
