well, a few months back i decided to start building what would hopefully end up as a decent looking drift car. so i found a 93 hatch in canton ohio with a few mods already installed for 2400$. i figured it was a good buy so i drove up and picked it up. on my was back i was following my stepdad and he called me and asked me why i wasnt signaling, i was like uhh...i am. so i pulled over and i had no front signals. well, i got that fixed and have been driving it since. i live in west virginia and so far this winters been pretty harsh. we have about a foot of snow on the ground so not very 240 friendly, especially with me running yokohama avid w4s's. anyway, today i got stuck and had to pull my car out of the snow. i have a d1 body kit on it and the rear bumper hangs below the towing hook. so, the rope pulled through my bumper. to remove the bumper you have to get to the bolts which would normally be in the spare tire compartment. well, i have a custom sub enclosure that had to be removed. to get that out you have to remove the back seat. to remove the back seat you have to remove all the interior from the front seats back. so, in the end my interior from the front seats back is non-existent. so i guess in the end it should drift a little easier without all that extra weight in the hatch. it probably totaled up to 325 pounds.
here are some before and after shots.o, and during all this i found some major rust deposits and some minor body damage that was covered up by the body kit installed by the previous owner so it was productive in the end
the finished product
