s13 had ac will relay work for electric after market fan to replace clutch fan?

Hi,

My clutch fan assy quit so I bought an electric fan system, for another $45 bones I can get a Thermostat for it, I was going to use a switch and some 14/12 gage wire to control it but while I was ripping out the rest of the non functional ac I found a sensor on the lower Radiator outlet and wondered if there is a way to utilize it and save the $45 and the hastle of remembering the switch all the time?
