Hey people I have a strange issue, my s13 died a couple days ago due to a dead battery, turns out the power cable on the back of the alternator came off, thus I was running on the battery for awhile..So I connect it back up, buy a new battery install it, now nothing inside the vehicle turns on, including the gauge cluster, dome light, the bell that tells u the door is open, nothing? The car starts up fine and runs, i did notice a very feint light on the dash though which was for the doors, can only see it in the dark. I think i should add that the popup lights arent goin up when I click the headlight button, the lights come on though, and the High beam icon is visible on the dash,WTH did I do? and most of all how do I fix this

Lol I made a thread about this exact problem, try giving it gas while its running, that made everything come back on.

But with the car off nothing works still.

How weird you're in rancho too lol.

Are the gauges not lighting up, or are not not even working?

Did you accidentally cross the terminals when you installed the battery?

there must me a short somewhere. a 74amp fuse should not blow like that.

by the way without this fuse your alternator will not charge, i found this out.

I live 45min hiway from a auto wreaker, so i wired up a 40 amp fuse that i had sitting around (around the same style) and drove to the auto wreaker. cost me $1.
