I'm currently working on fixing some little problems with my new s13 before I move on to power adders but I'm stuck on this one...

When the fuel tank is full of gas it will slowly drip gas on the passenger side. So I started to remove the tank so I could find the crack,

undid the straps holding the tank on, opened fuel pump trap door and released the harness, but the tank would only drop about 2 inches, so there has to be something else holding it.

the FSM is crap as it doesn't show anything else...I did find that fuel was leaking from where the fuel filler neck attaches to the tank and looks like there is an o-ring that I will need to buy to replace.

Can anyone thats done this give me any advice on how to completely remove the tank so I can take off the fuel neck filler?? Thanks.

Either release the fluid lines at the top of the pump. Or remove the entire sending unit. Also, drop the straps all the way and make sure the fillerneck isnt attached. Look all around the tank and figure out what is holding you up.

This might be it. I worked on fuel pump yesterday and it was hard to push these two lines out.
