IIRC the tank is 14 gallons, but if you really want to calculate your MPG fill your car up with gas all the way, reset the trip odometer, drive for 100-200 miles to get a good variety of highway and city, then fill it back up fully and divide the amount of miles driven by the amount of gas that was needed to fill it back up theres your miles per gallon

you may be right I'm not too sure, but in either case i wouldnt beleive a S13 gas gauge to be accurate, i know mine goes up and down depending on how I am driving.

Do you have the SOHC? If so check to make sure your injector O-rings arent leaking.

Start with a tune up, I just did one to mine and it only cost 160 bucks for, spark plugs, wires, car, rotor, O2 sencer, fule filter.

Uh. Why would you go through all that math when you could just fill up with 10 gallons and run it back to where it was when you filled it up last time.

yeah that is the s13 gas gauge for you. i bet it still had ~50 miles on the tank if you had kept going.

yeah but you'll end up like that guy on the commercial, telling his wife there is a reserve tank...

I finally got to see my gas light! My S14 ran 390 miles, and it finally blinked on for a few seconds. I was really disappointed in my gas mileage this tank, which was 24.375...last tank was 32, but I drove fairly hard. But anyway, Project Nogas was a success. I was excited. And by what I can tell, the gas meters 'quarter tank' tick marks are really '1/5 tank' tick marks.

First basic thing you should check is your tire pressure. If your tires are low, your mileage will actually suffer greatly.

just taking of the air box and adapting a cone (k&n or whatever) on the maf gave me a lot more mileage. also i took of the egr system that helped out. but u might want to check what state ur in first. we don't have inspection in fla.
