I've been experiencing some unsettling rattling in the front end at high speeds. The chassis has close to 200,000 miles on it, so I figure it's time to replace a bunch of stuff on the front end.
So far the only thing I've changed up front are the T/C rods which I replaced with the Moog version, LCA and TC bushings. I also have some anti-sway bars, and a Cusco brace.
What parts should I be looking to replace at 200,000 miles? What is the rack and pinion setup like at that sort of mileage? Can the rack be freshened up, or do I need to source a completely new one? I've been noticing little chunks of metal in my power steering fluid. I figure that's bad.
Where could they be coming from?
