In Japan the CA18DET comes in the 180SX and is NOT refered to as a SILVIA... EVER (in japan). It also comes in the early S13
Once again, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 240SX IN JAPAN
The S13, S14, and S15 all fall under the name Silvia (hence the S). The J through K (there's a "Q" model in case you were wondering, and there's even an A series, which is very rare) used the sr20det (sr20de in Spec-S and det in Spec- R).
google a picture of an S13 IN JAPAN and try to find one showing the back side, i promise you it will say SILVIA on the back in blocky letters, and the A in SILVIA looks kinda like a triangle. The S14 and S15 used more cursive style lettering on the back. In fact, i've even taken the time to find one for you:

and yes, just to be fair, i do me KA24E, sorry (type-o)
Not trying to be pushy or correcty (correcty? lol). I just want to make sure im clear/making sense on my end
