Just wondering if purchasing the front clip would help out in the wiring, ignition etc..a lot or if it isnt really necesary. I plan on using the stock mount intercooler for a while and then get a FMIC or would it be cheaper to save up now and install it altogether. Also do the panels and such come in good conditon to use again?

yes, it's worth it, but the panels won't be in good shape, if they come with it at all. Check out the vendors sites, or try SEARCHING for that info. The other option is dauntless, who sells the motorset with everything that comes with a clip, except the clip itself. Of course, you'd probably already know this if you read the stickies...

Daunttless, Wayne at phase2 and Heavy Throttle are the best people to get clips from.

Well i plan on doing the swap myself and i dont want to run into any missing parts and such. So the Front Clip really is a big help HUH? I just dont want to pay the 5 or 6 grand that V-Spec asks for it, even if it includes the engine.

Just a question how much does a good front clip run for? i saw this site that sells for 2.6k

That's around the going price for the clip. If you are doing this yourself, then plan on having the car down for a few weeks even a month. And do all the research you can before getting into it.http://www.silviaaustralia.com has the service repair manual for the sr20det that you can download for free
