The term fram rail on the 240 is often misused since these cars dont have frames. Just a unibody. But I assume you have a rotted rail? If you do you can cut one from a junk car. Or cut out the damage and rust, fabricate, and repair your own. My car had rust issues and thats what was done.

You can buy a new rail from nissan.

I've seen it done before.

Honestly, I'd just cut it out and coat the bottom.I wouldn't even waste the time/money to replace it.

I find it pointless.

It isn't a must to have. JDM car's don't even have them.

Probably right.

I'd have to check, but it's too late right now.

if theres no more theres no more though. cut the rails off of a junked car and weld on in. no need to completely fab something

for $60 bucks? i would just fab up my own if i knew how to weld. You can just bring your car to an auto body place and see how much they would charge for cutting out and replacing.

I removed mine and used 2x4's from Home Depot. The weight savings was unbelievable.
