So like it says...i need to know if the 7"(35 offset) front FNO1R-C will clear the Z32 brakes, either 26 or 30, but i believe they have the same calper width...just different size rotors. iirc. If they won't then i'll just go the Q45 route, but i definately need more than what i have. I'll probably start by bleeding and putting DOT 4 fluid in these and try that, cuz i'm sure what is in there sucks. Considering the condition of all the bushings and the like.

Thanx to all who help, i did search as well=) I prefer to answer my own, but couldn't find anything about these ones.

FN01RC have backspacing for years.

they clear everything. Though that offset is too high. Go +25.

If you need more braking performance, get some ATE super blue from SPL PARTs, link on left, some stainless lines and a decent pad. That will help you out IMMENSLY. If it's still not good enough, when your pads where out, get Z32's.

That's the lowest offset one can go on a 17x7 fn01rc and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

no? 5zigen recommends 17*9 +35R 17*8 +25F for FN01RC on S13 240SX.

Hes going an inch smaller and 10mm more offset. It'll be almost as sunken as stock.

whatever though, your money.

actually those are what 5Zigen recommended for the s13. Which is why i ordered them. As long as it clears that's all i care about=)

i don't see the point in messing with these brakes though. I just shelled out the cash to do all of my suspension. Complete SPL Catalog minus the control arms. As well as the D2's. So i figure if i'm gonna bother with the brakes i want something that will not fade. Since all the cars i've owned have been plagued with that. I also intend to turbo my car after i finish the brakes. In which i'm shooting for around 350-400 hp. So i would like to be able to get to a halt.

actually, you're half right. 17x7F 17x8R +35 is what they recommend.

ridiculous in my opinion. If you don't want to have to worry about brakes for a while, get Z32. Just get 30mm, more popular, I've heard Brembo doesn't even make 26mm Z32 rotors.

Hey bud, you should have a tracking number.

The arms all went out in one box the same day. :)

Thanks for the order BTW.

I do have the tracking number, should be here on Tuesday. Attempting to curb my excitement, by not talking about it too much.=)

As far as the rims, that's exactly what i ordered from 5Zigen. ChunkiDori=)

I had only listed the fronts, because i wasn't assuming there would be any problems in the rears either way. I did some homework. I considered the 8F/9R, but i didn't want to pay more for tires down the road everytime.

Tires won't cost much more...215's in the front and 235's in the rear. What did you plan on running w/ the 17x7/17x8 setup?

Just so you know, you'd have to be 5-lug to run the 17x8/17x9 setup. If you have no plans of going 5, then the 17x7/17x8 setup is your only option (going w/ the 5zigens).

Those are the sizes I have and they are good, but there is nothing wrong w/ the 17x7/17x8 setup...not everyone cares about the flush craze though and I don't think it's right to tell someone 'x' wheel size is wrong b/c the offset doesn't suit your needs and desires. If he want's it more flush in the future, spacers are always an option. My $.02

that's the exact tire size i was planning on running...215/45 up front with 235/40 in the rear.

Yeah i not as anal retentive about the whole flush thing as everyone else seems to be. I'd be a little more worried about it if it was a deep dish rim, but i don't think it's quite as big as reason with these.

I knew there was another reason i didn't do the 8/9...i didn't want to swap to 5 lug. Seems like a waste of money. My .02 anyway.
