At then end of the day they are both old slow cars. Perhaps look up the info on the cars 0-60 1/4 times. They test almost every car at some point in stock form.

Almost positive the 95 S14 has the quickest time, but I can't remember for sure.

1989 = SOHC1991 = DOHC

SOHC is .4 seconds slower than a dual? and faster than a vert?....new info to me.

thats fine and all but what model s13 were they testing a coupe or hatchback? it seems logical that the ka24de s13 coupes would be the fastest because they weigh in the less but the data conflicts with that.

We can sit here and compare 0-60 & quarter mile times from over a decade ago all day, but I'd bet the deciding factor was the condition of each car's motor.

I've driven a sohc hatch that was faster than my dohc hatch and both had the same trim level. In the end, I believe the sohc motor probably had better compression than mine, even though my motor had been recently rebuilt.

There's so many variables in this equation, looking to those old facts & figures for an answer is almost pointless...
