S13 fastback fold-down seats?

does anyone know if the rear seats in the S13 fastback are supposed to be able to fold-down? i always thought they did... but when i looked at mine they seem pretty solid. i checked the search engines and found references to fastbacks with fold-down rear seats.... NICO search only turns up S14 results. the fastback has plenty of trunk space, but it'd be even nicer with fold-down rear seats, for transporting long items.

i have these plastic loops coming out of the sides of my rear seats... what are they? are they for seat belts? or do i pull hard to fold-down? if they're for seat belts... i'm missing them...

The seats should fold down. Mine do. I'd go out and check to see where the lever is, but I'm at school with my DSM cause my 240 is in desperate need of some engine work... but... thats what you get when you buy a 240 for a grand its still fun to drive, even though it runs like complete trash.

Yo there should be 2 things to pull on top of the seat. 1 on each side, just pull them both up.

so those loops are it? i pulled, but it didn't release... they look really flimsy... i'm afraid that if i pull too hard it'll snap... but those are the only things sticking out of the seats... i'll go try in a bit and see how it goes. thanks!
