Despite what 240SX.org may say...the Altima intake cam IS NOT 248 duration.

I assume this is going into an S14?

If you want a 248/248 setup, you'll have to buy another S13 exhaust cam and install it using the "4-tooth CCW" method.

I have only heard of the twin exhaust cam thing. I am looking for cheap power, and I have access to pleny of Nissan cams. I have a 91, stock motor, with removed AIV. What cams do I need, and how will this affect popwer output, sound, and idle. Fuel consumption is not a concern if performance is greatly increased. Please explain the 4-tooth CCW method. I am experienced on domestics and ATV's, but am only recently introduced to the import mechanical scene.

the exhaust cam that goes on the intake side has to be rotated 4 teeth counter clockwise.(as in you try to install it the stock way, but you move it 4 teeth to the left(lookin from the front of the engine))

Do you line up the colored link with the exhaust side then, and then leave the intake side something like 2 1/2 links away from it's mark, or do you line up the exhaust side, and then turn it in order to get the intake side to it's colored link?

You leave the exhaust cam in the same place...so line the dot on the cam gear up with the colored link.

For the intake side, locate the colored link, and rather than lining the dot up with it, move it CCW 4 teeth..NOT 4 whole links...4 teeth.

Huh, I have done that and I can't get mine to start, and it makes TONS of compression, I was wondering if that was it, but if so many people have done it that way and it has worked, then I just have to accept it.
