Hi, I am planning to put one of those slim electric fan from ebay on my car because the mechanical one is power robbing.. Does anyone know what size I should get? will a 14" fit? should I place it on the engine side or the bumper side? Also, the stock car has an AC fan.... am I supposed to remove that or just leave it alone? If I leave the AC fan on, I only have room for 1 fan on the engine side; will this be suffiicient for cooling?

Thank you

the ac fan will only turn on if your ac is actually on, i removed mine along with the ac and the condensor that sits in front of the radiator. just taking that out made my 240 run cooler.

i have two 12" fan on my radiator and it keeps it cool but my ony regret is that i should of grabbed a 14" and a 12". i would use the 14" as a primary cooling fan and the 12" as a secondary/ac fan. also its more efficient to use it as a puller than a pusher.

If you do not want to shell out the 300 ish for the flex alite dual fans. You should consider the Ford Taurus Fan, it's cheaper i haven't installed it my self so i can't say for sure but it looks like a pretty good option. It blows good CFMS the only thing is thermostatic control but then some flexalit don't even come with it to..

I am gonna try wiring up so that the AC fan turns on all the time to see if it can cool my car. So you guys put the fans on the engine side? And replace the AC fan with a different one?
