I've done search and figure out if you use KA cams or SR20 cams in your KA. Also, what year is the best to use. I have a '92 KA and a'93 KA to use the cams out of. . . . I want to do the swap. Thanks for your help.

I also have '95 KA cams. What are the best for N/A and turbo?

-Thanks

It really depends on what year engine you are putting the cams into.

Everyone has heard of the 91 hot cams that are an upgrade for the s14 KAs.. but really all s13 KA cams are the same. So any 91-94 KA cams are the hot cams.

There is another trick you can do using two exhaust cams.. but you would have to search for that info.

That upgrade would work for NA or Turbo.. but its still a stock cam. Not a HUGE upgrade of any sorts. There are tons of custom cams out there... JWT and PDM to name a couple.

I'm not really sure what you're asking in that post, but I have never heard of anyone using SR cams in a KA motor if that's what you mean. I'm pretty sure that's not an option.

As far as the exhaust cam, I wouldn't waste my time unless you are already in the engine for something else personally. Just wouldn't do enough to matter for me. I've got two sets of S13 KA cams right now, with an S14 KA motor in my car, and I don't even want to waste my time putting in the so called "hot cams".

When it comes to cams being better for N/A or turbo, I'm no expert, but I believe that you don't want to be running alot of overlap with turbo. Most cam upgrades for an N/A car will increase overlap, so anything that you do to upgrade now will probly hurt with a turbo down the line.

I have a '93 240 and it's down right now, so I was wondering if putting in the cam will help it out any. . .
