any way to pull data from the ECU of a 91-93 KA (like a data port or something)

also, what about an SR...

the reason i ask is i am going to be building a computer for my car for MP3s, navigation, etc... and it would be kinda cool to be able to read the stuff my ecu is putting out.

there is a very basic data port but it doesnt show much. should be a black connector around your hood release handle under the dash with a big clear plastic rubber boot around it.

cool, what type of stuff does it read?

O2 cycles,mixture control cycles,hard idle switch on and off,It doesnt give you any hard numbers it just sends pulses on and off to flash a light on a scan tool.
