so im gonna send my newly bought s13 ecu in for an enthalpy tune. id like to know if there is a way to actually identify the ecu to know what one it is. also, im getting the 300zx mafs and 72lb injector program. i need to run resistors on the injectors bc the low impedence. does anyone have a rundown on how to do the resistors or pics/specs on what resistor?

thanks guys

Zak

measure the resistance between your stock injectors, should be something between 12-16 ohms, then measure the resistance between the peak/hold injectors. subtract and whatever number you get, thats the resitor you need. or you could use an obd0 (88-91) honda resistor box to make it a little cleaner.

damn i thought it was just gonna be a regular ole resistor. so how do i go about measuring it? i dont have my old sidefeed injector clips intact anymore. ive already rewired for the topfeed 72's.

all you need is 10 watt 10 ohm resistors. That will usually suffice for what your working with. It's hard to find retailers that carry ones that strong in the store, but you can easily order them on the net.

you meausre between the two leads on the injector with a multimeter. its not rocket science, lol. but veils way works too. thats just if you want the ecu to see the same resistance as the stock injectors

Which is all it needs. I just needs to see between a 12-14 ohm load. iirc. Anything between those values is all the same to it.
