Just wondering, since I don't have either, or have had a chance to look at both at the same time, what are the differences between the 2 models as far as plumbing goes. I know the ex mani is different, thats not a problem. I am more concerned with the down pipe and IC plumbing. Anyone got any info for me??

intercooler piping will be different, premade kits for s13 or s14 are not exchangeable. as for the downpipe, the entire s14 exhaust is different and the SR20 needs a different downpipe for each model so I'd guess they wouldn't be interchangeable...

i believe brian is asking about the sohc and dohc S13s.

piping is goint to be completely different. the throttle bodies are in different positions and the turbocharger needs to sit farther away from the head on the sohc models in order to give decent clearance for the spark plugs and wires. it's possible you could make two different manifolds that will put the turbocharger in the same place for either engine model. if you could do that, then you should be able to fab one downpipe that would work for either engine.
