S13 door question.

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knew how difficult it would be to switch doors off another s13 with power options onto my 89 240sx without power windows etc. Has anyone tried this? would it be a pain in the ***?

I would think that the wiring would be the issue, I would suggest that you buy a Chilton manual for the car. They are handy to have around anyway but, more importantly for you it would tell you what you need to do this.

I'll try to find one thanks, I was hoping someone knew about or have tried somthing like this, heh I dont want to buy 2 doors and then not be able to use them if it's a major pain in the *** you know.

if you get the whole door and the harness is included with the body connector in tact it wont be that bad if the body harness in the car is prewired for power. you will also probably need to swap in the entry control unit located under the dash, near your right knee I believe.

I have a '90 240SX SE(fastback) somewhat like yours, only its a 5speed. I have wanted to do this to my car for a while myself, with the power options, at least doorlocks. Did you ever get anymore info on it? How much does the whole door usually run per door?

I will have 2 tan powed doors available in the spring with all the wiring. I crashed my car a few months back and I will be pulling all the parts off in the spring. Let me know if anyone wants to pick them up or I will sell them local. Nick
