s13 door panel removal (manual window)

i have the door almost off but i cant get the window handle off. please help!

Loop a rag over the back of the winder handle and saw back-and-forth gently. It'll make the clip wander right out. To re-install, put the clip in the handle and push the handle straight onto the winder stud. It'll pop right in. Make sure you have it aligned first. If you lose the stupid little clip, they have them at the parts stores. For obvious reasons.

Sorry you had to leave Oakland, but do you still get to use the whistle there? Wooo-wooo.

good call...i normally get a needle nose on one leg then poke the othe with a flat head so i dont lose it

I used to make a hook from a paper clip until I found out about this rag trick.

i am also at this part... clips off plastic handle (right side) off now the window crank.... i read that you can use a rag to remove it by moving it around and it should pop off? wtf i need more info on this and about putting the window crank.... i am trying to get to the speaker!!! i have a sony xplod 6 1/2 inch all around speaker i want to put in! yea yea yea i no the speaker size it 6x4 byt hopefully i can ghetto rig this like i did to the rear speakers! but those are 5 1/2 ich round speakers!

You slip the rag in b/t the handle and the door panel and pull up while simultaneously pulling it side to side. Buy the eBay 6.5" adapter plates for the speakers, don't ghetto rig stuff unless you have to. The plates are only $14 shipped and they work great.
