s13 dohc distributor

I need to replace my crank angle sensor (code 11) and finally found out it was integrated into the distributor. I was wondering what the 'module' on the distributor is. Most of the parts shops sell a reman distributor w/o module. Please help clarify.

it is called an ignition modual you can use ur existing one because you have spark it works liike a voltage regulator and if you dont have spark it could be an issue but just use urs.
