I need a disty for my S14, but am having issues finding one. Will an S13 distributor work if it's off the DOHC motor?

I am pretty sure it will not. For most vehicles, once they made the swap from OBDI to OBDII they changed most of the sensors and accesories.

I know where there is one 1995 distributor and 2 1996 distributors. If you really can't find one, contact me by email: [email protected] or my cell is 770-616-6379

Cool, thanks. I'll probably do that.

I had ran a couple of searches and saw a couple of people mention having S13 distributors on their S14s, but I guess wiring was needed due to the external coil on the S13 disty that may not be worth the work for an otherwise stock S14.... ?

I guess I just need to track down one for my '96.

It wil not, you need one from s14, since you have a 96, you need a OBDII. I have one from 97, willing to sell if the price is right. let me know. [email protected]

You can swap out to an S13 distributor if you also get the external coil and wire it correctly...I'd just find a used S14 one.

Try http://www.car-part.com - There's a bunch in the "Southeast" region, for anywhere from $50 to $250...
