Hello, I am going to change my transmission and differential fluid in my 89 240 with Redline synthetic oils. MT-90 for my Manual transmission and 75w90 for my open diffential. I know that I will need 4 quarts for my transmission, but how many quarts do I need for my diffy?

Whoa...check that transmission capacity...IIRC, it's only ~2.5 quarts.

For the diff...it's 1.5 iters, or 3 1/8 pints.

Oh okay thanks for the info and the correction. So let me get this straight, since the place I am purchasing this sells this in quarts, I need 3 quarts of Manual transmission and 2 quarts of Differential Fluid right? By the way, I keep seeing IIRC, what is that?
