Is it possible to use a DOHC s13 wiring harness with a 95 Ka24de in a 89 240sx?

Need to put a DOHC S13 Intake mani and distributor on the '95 engine. Then splice the SOHC S13 dash harness plug onto the DOHC S13 harness. Use DOHC S13 ECU And use DOHC S13 gauge cluster.

I believe the distributor is inside on this engine no? And all I need is to get a intake mani?

Yes, you have to swap the S14 distributor setup for the S13 one.

you know man Imma just try and find a 1995 s14 wiring harness lol

anybody know where I could pick one up?

That will be more work than going with S13 stuff probably.

and a 92 s13 ka24de distributor connects right into a 1995 ka24de?

and I have the ecu that came with the 95 motor and the 89 soch gauge cluster, that came in the car, so what would be the simplest way to make it all work or easiest things to buy?

this is the intake manifold I need?

That's not a wholed intake mani, but yes you need 91-94 240sx intake mani.

S13 distributor will go directly into S14 engine. S13 distributor just has an external coil.

'89 cluster (atleast the tach) will not work with a DOHC motor (S13 or S14).

With S14 wiring harness/ECU you'd have issues with everything in the '89 engine bay/dash besides the motor.

Ya i realized that after sending it was the uppper part of the Mani

ok ok so ya that distributor swap shouldnt be big
&& will this s13 harness not work with a s14 ecu? i believe the clip fits but idk how it will run

I have to buy a tach anyways with the motor swap I know but would you suggest be buying a tach for a S13 DOhc or a s14 DOHC or are they similar?

so can you explain to me why I shouldnt buy a s14 harness for my s14 engine and why I should keep the s13 harness and go the s13 mani and g. cluster route?
