is the double din on an s13 same size as the s14? Like width height depth? A guy is selling me his in dash screen from his s13 just curious how smooth the transition should be.

(note: Width and Height is not my concern depth and internal cables is what i was curious about just so i can clear that up)

You sir are a jack a** for all I know their is something different on this dash that makes the lower portion hard to squeeze double din equipment into. I have had issue with this on other cars. Im just checking with people who have "experience" with this so I know what to expect. a**..

Double din is still double din. Both the s13 and s14 have double din openings for your radio, and you are the a** that cant see that. Your threads are a** and you need to search before making threads, that is the reason for the bad attitude and the lack of response on your threads. You fail. Put it in, if you have problems while doing it. Make a thread and I will flame that one too...

Your a prick and ive seen it in alot of other threads as well. I may not know as much as other people on here and make "lame" threads but this is a forum and I ask others who know. There is always a risk to get pricks like you giving a hard time on something thats so "easy" to search for. I have searched before everything i have ever posted. Sometimes i do find stuff which i dont post (but you wouldnt know that) other time i find bits and pieces and repost to try and consolidate and get a better understanding. Get a life and if my questions are bland to you move on. My question is legitmate there are cars that have issues putting in double din equipment due to internal dash cable etc. So stfu unless you got a resourceful answer. From the looks of what you own you prob never had a s14 nor a double din in dash. Keep your opinion in Jersey im sure its more useful their.

Actually, I know what you are talking about. I have OEM cassette/radio with add-on CD player. There's a cable goes from the CD player to the back of cassette/radio and that cable has to be rolled and tucked right. Otherwise, they won't go all the way in.

Bottom line is if it fit on s13, it should fit on s14. I know you don't want to waste your money and time, but you gotta pay to play, so get it and see what happens. Dash screen that fills up double din spot sounds very hot, so post pics when you are done.

Good, glad to hear that you went ahead and installed it. Was tired of reading your weak responses.

Only on here at work, and you could only aspire to have the kind of life I have so...enjoy.

Also, btw I have owned 8 s-chassis cars. 4 of them s14's 3 of them s13's and 1 s12 200sx. Know my way around them.
