S13 Cracked Dash Owners, UNITE! Round 2! READ!

You guys might remember my last post regarding a company named Accuform, makers of plastic vacuum formed dash overlays.

Well, The focus has shifted to a larger & more competent company called Coverlay Manufacturing, INC. They also manufacture of plastic vacuum formed dash overlays.

I had a promising conversation with a rep by the name of Frank, basically telling him the cracking problems of the S13 dash. As per our conversation, HE needs to see CONSISTENT demand for this product, as in the past car club demand will start out strong, then die out.As a fellow 240 enthusiast, I am asking every S13 owner, cracked dash or not, to call & email Coverlay Manufacturing, INC. & demand this product be made!

2 out of 3 of my s13's dash are cracked, Will send email after nopi.....Floyds13 is cracked so that is 3/4

why not offer them some sort of advertisement with NICO. maybe offer them a sticky in the 240sx thread so as more people and noobs come on they will see that there is an option for a new dashboard rather than scouring the junkyards and classifieds. think they might be down for that?

Is a dash overlay just a cover that goes over the dash, or is the complete dash itself?

ceefromdasco, It is a vacuum formed plastic cover. You glue it in place & once you finish it looks like a brand new dash. Plus they offer a lifetime warranty.I emailed powerslot for you, that's a damn good idea.

Hey guys, i just got off the phone with them. They are hearing our cries!! They taken all of our emails and phone records and created a folder for them and heres the response..

Their mold maker is booked probably until the end of the year. They says it takes about 3 months to created the mold for one and hes got a few more projects he still has to do before he would even be able to make them. They also said that the fact our cars are so old is another reason thats holding them back. They generally dont make them for cars our age. The ones theyre working on now are for 05-07 models.. They said they know there is a demand out there and they are really considering it but dont expect any action until early next year..

KEEP THE EMAILS COMING!! GET THEM TO DO IT SOONER!!!

I sent an email, my dash has that foot long crescent crack, starting at the defrost, running down toward the gauge cluster. I've swapped out one dash, and don't really want to swap this one! Something like this would be perfect, because I'm sure the # of clean dashes out there is about 1/2 by now..
