s13: couple questions...

My friend just gave me a headunit from some old car he had lying around, a clarion RDB365D, but with no wiring at all. So i bought the clarion harness on ebay, but not sure what the s13(93 240) specific harness looks like. Is this the right one i need on this page?: http://www.tune-town.com/Cars/...X.htmIm going to head to walmart tomorrow anyways to see what they have(somebody told me they carried these), but if its too much there ill just order it online.

Also I got a pair of 6.5s that I want to put in the doors. I had the drivers door and speaker off once just to take a look, and there doesnt seem to be very much room back there. Is the stock amp right behind the speaker...? If so, can I just rip that out? I have another amp from a previous setup that I am going to run for now.

the wire harness for your car is cheap at walmart, but i would go to autozone and get the Metra harness. the 6.5s will fit, but you have to create special baffles (adaptors). there is a thread on making these around here somewhere. do a search and you will find it. you can just remove the factory amp, but make sure that you can still hook up your speakers DIRECTLY to your amp. you can use factory wiring, but you will have to be careful. the factory provision for speakers in the s13 is 4x6.

Sounds good. I will be running all new wiring to the new amp. Got the harness though a friend at ABC warehouse, now just waiting on the HU harness.
