s13 coupe wont turn off

Hey so i got a 91 coupe and when i bought it the key would cut power to the engine and the car would shut off but the battery would smell foul if the terminal was left on. Then it stopped turning off with the ignition one day, i replaced the battery, checked the ecu, the wiring is so messy aftermarket relays and stuff. i took off the alarm and tried to rewire it back to stock (dont know if i even did that correctly but there was some clearly saudered parts of wire that i put back). Same s*** car wouldn't turn off, replaced the ignition switch and still nothing. Any advice? i did find this.

You have a Turbo timer?

Sounds like you def. got some electrical issues going on. Gunna be hard to diagnose online I'm sure.
