Here's what I did at a bbq at a friends house a couple days ago...with an open diff so no one can say you can't do it anymore!

yea, i think it's been proved countless times you can drift with an open diff just a little bit harder in some situations :o, that looked like fun though =]

nobody ever said you cant do it, it just sucks with it. lower speeds and harder on tires.

well all i see is body roll and stupidity.

in all honesty it depends on your definition of "drift" to say what you did.

I say you cannot "drift" in open diff. Rather just let the rear get loose just a bit thats all.

see above picture. its 100% possible, just take more speed to initiate, you loose more speed in the corner, and its very hard on the tire thats spinning.

of the times ive drifted my s14 with the stock open diff, i was very successful. im talking about a decent 100' atleast radius. initiating/entry was perfect, holding it was really easy and flawless, and coming out is the hardest but i still got it done and left some perfect rubber trails. its weird because when i went back and looked at the trails i laid, there were two marks even across the whole drift meaning that both tires were spinning. wish i had a camera to take a pic. oh yeah, might i add it was with the A/C blasting and the windows up. laaaaid back

**** i can do that in a civic. open Diff drifting is like swimming on dirt you can do it but its just not right.

You can preach open diff all day long but its just an excuse to be cheap and not get any better.

Umm Okay FAG BOY 9000 I said i could do that in a honda.

NOT THAT I OWN A HONDA.

I have a 93 240 coupe and a 92 silvia.

Everyone preaches on how good they are in a open diff well good ****ing job now get a real diff.

BTW if you have 463whp in a S13 GOOD ****ING JOB, never said anything about horsepower did i, NO.

And if you do have that much power with an open diff you are a very stupid person, let me guess stock suspension because power is everything to you right?

Like nismo whatever said go out practice get your **** down. You can **** talk me all you want online but the truth is i doubt any of you have what it takes to do driver search.

If you do i welcome the challenge.

I'm sorry but you are so ****ing retarded its not even funny. If you quit being a dumbass and read.......It has been said that the pics of my black coupe is the daily. Oh and yes someone would go through the troubles of making that kind of motor without paying attention to any other details. So you can suck it and my nismo 2way. Trying to say that no one here has what it takes? I KNOW that I can out drive your punk *** any given day based on how you've approached this whole situation. Your some dumbass kid that thinks he's the drift king because you own initial D. You have NO idea what anyone here has done to their cars so before you go preaching get a clue ok? I'm sick and tired of all the ***holes on this board trying to ruin it for people and I'm not going to take it anymore! So pretty much, welcome to nico and if you can't say anything nice then shut the **** up because I'm tired of hearing whining little bishez like you.

Thanks.
