S13 Coupe Radio relocation

I want to relocate the radio elsewhere (was thinking glove compartment) because I need the room in center for a switchpanel and some other electronics. Has anyone done this? maybe pics of the completed relocation?

I would rather not go in blindly cutting holes in my glove compartment.

haha, Yeah kinda like that. The idea is that, since I dont listen to the radio much, considering I dont have an antenna. the passenger can play with the radio if they want.

This could be good for anti-theft. Out of sight, out of mind.

But I dont think you need a write up on this... Just make a bracket to fit it how you want in your glove box. Extend the wires over to go inside the box. Than install it as if it was in your dash. Not really too crazy... But not too bad of an idea

Well the reason I asked, is because looking at my glove box, I will need to cut out some of the back for my radio to fit. I also see the heater components back there and dont wanna screw anything up. Thanks, I think I'll just go for it.

Also boombox would be sick.
