I'm trying to change out my rear speakers but the brakelight is keeping me from taking the cover off of the rear deck. I see on both sides of the light housing there are two screws, both spin freely. I've been picking at them for a while and no dice, can anyone help a brother out here? TIA

if your refering to the plastic screws they just pop out , then there are 3 to 4 more metal screws that hold the light to the metal deck.

I had to take a butter-knife and stick it behind the ring that the screw is screwed into to give it some pressure then the screws came out with ease. Would not work otherwise.

Haha, damn these speakers are fugly

Eh, 6x9s, yucky.

I'm not a fan of the oval style speakers. If I had some adapter plates I'd put the rear stockers up front to get rid of the 4x6s

Yeah the rear deck cover is held in the center by the brake light bracket, two simple screws remove this piece with ease.

6x9 are so much better then the stock 6 inchers, at least they will produce bass. also the sound quality is a lot higher on the 6x9
