I recently bought my old s13 coupe back and i just noticed a problem on it, it has cusco coilovers all around but what is that mean if im pressing on the brakes and both sides of the front wheels come to a stop but if feels like it leaps forward like its loose and when you let go of the brakes its stable with the ground?

Your description is kind of confusing but lemee see if i cant figure it out.

So what your saying is when you hit the brakes the car nose dives? well if so then i'd say your coilovers are pretty worn out and its time to replace them, or have them rebuilt

mine did / does the exact same thing

first check the collard to see if they are locking where they mount to the knuckle

then if that isnt it then it was also my tension rods were lose and it would cause it to clunk when breaking

so annoying but yeah its probably either of those two things, then if it isnt that then check the strut tower and then lower control arms lol

basically everything down there should be snug haha

you dont have front axles. maybe your control arms. check the bushings and your lower ball joint

fyi i believe you check this by jacking up the wheel and trying to tilt it side to side and and up and down, usually side to side is tie rod wear and up and down is ball joint wear

in either case this should help you locate some form of play
