I searched this forum, and google. Found nothing. I have a KA-T S13 DOHC. My car was leaking coolant, so I tore everything apart looking for it. Finally found that on my lower timing chain cover. The cover cracked behind my thermostats housing. I do not mean on the edge of the housing, but I mean on the back near where that cover bolts to the block. It's not even cracked like I over torqued it and split. It split in the middle of no where like something magically hit it back there. Well I replaced my front timing chain cover, three days ago, and that fixed it. No leaks. I even pressurized the coolant system and it held perfectly. Later that same day I noticed a coolant leak. I thought maybe my motor spit some out the over flow tank. I just checked today after shutting off my car and I noticed it spraying out of the same area. I haven't taken it apart to check yet, but my money is on the same spot. Any else ever seen or heard of this issue? It's a brand spanking new fully built motor.

That's odd... I wonder if you're over pressurizing your system somehow and that's the weakest link, acting like a fuse.

Got any pictures?
