s13 console switch question

i have a 91 s13 base model and its missing the switch that goes next to the cigarette lighter. so i went to courtesyparts.com and i found the switch and it looks like there are two different switches (http://www.courtesyparts.com/240sx-part ... _1462.html). which one would i need to get? also, what do those switches do?

Unless your car has power mirrors, the switch will not do anything. The one labeled "CV" means convertible. In the verts, the side window switches are there if I remember correctly. But in the coupe/hatch, it's the switch for the power mirrors.

oh i didn't know that. so then my car originally had power windows cuz my car has manual windows right now

If you didn't have power windows, then there was just like a blank plate there. The spot for it was still there, just not the switch.

oooh ok. but since i got it, there's been hole there for the switch and there's a connection for it too

base models don't come with power mirror adjust. get that cover so your interior will look better. I believe it was 15 bucks, somewhere around there.
