i bought a LUK clutch from a friend for an 1989-1990 trans. i have a 1993 trans. the part numbers are different but the specs are the same. will this work? are all those years the trans the same? I guess what i really should ask will a single cam trans clutch work with a dual cam trans?

it should work no problem. the single cam and twin cam use the same block, let alone all 240's have the same (ka) motor so it should definately work. i think i need a clutch too, something in the transmission rattles when the clutch pedal isnt pressed in, at idle

well yeah they are all ka's but why do they have different part numbers and the cost is also different? can anyone confirm this based on experience?
