So here is my problem. I have a Vert, automatic of course. Found and engine and 5 speed trans, i have everything but the clutch pedal. All the 240sx's in the junkyards around me have been picked clean. Are there any alternatives such as a maxima/altma/sentra pedal that will work?

I have a pulsar nx clutch pedal and modified 240sx clutch master. It was a major pita and took some fabbing of the fire wall. If I had to do it again I wouldnt. I would just wait till I found a pedal assembly. Have you tried the classifieds here?

If any of those might work id say the closest thing would be the 300zx.

Honestly, you can use whatever clutch pedal you feel like using. Since they're all mechanical units, you can take one off a Ford if you really needed to. The only extra work you would have to do when using a clutch pedal and/or master cylinder assembly is make holes in the firewall for it, and find the proper fitting for the clutch fluid line to fit into the master cylinder.

Using an S13 one will obviously make the job easier since there will be notches in the firewall acting as template, telling you were to drill the holes and the hard clutch line will match up to it perfectly (if you did not purchase the stainless steel braided).

Yeah you can but take it from someone who actually used a pedal a**. From another car. Its not worth the extra labor. There is hardly any room to work in there unless the dash is pulled.

Best to remember in mounting the pedal that the S13 mounting points are already there on the firewall and all you have to do is drill the 2 bolt holes and the center hole for cylinder. When using a different clutch pedal all that gets screwed up, not worth it.

And don't forget the one bolt that's nearly to the top of the dash that makes sure your fire wall doesn't bend......that'd the hardest bolt. All because I want patient enough.
