Hey guys i searched last night and had trouble finding the illumination wire for the s13 gage cluster. it seems theres multiple possibilities, so if anyone knows how to read their fsm better than I be my guest and post.

Not sure if it was me fking with the wiring last night fixing my wiper intermittent speed and bringing power back to that circuit that screwed up my cluster,
but now the cluster won't light up and I'm havin trouble.

It was dying before a few random times the cluster would not light up, but this time it's perma-dead lol.

If it worked before you did the work, go back and check it all.

well I did undo the wiper power wire fix and still no luck.

Also, the 2 grounds i can identify have low to no resistance.

I stole power from the cruise control wiring illumination to get headlights on power, and put it on cluster pin 24, no luck.
put it on cluster pin 20 (it gets power at pin 11 still)
no luck.
tried powering them both simultaneously too and nothing.

I think the "Ill" is a low reference, I just threw out the printed version of the prints from when I did mine.

Low reference? I'm not sure what it meant on the back either but that green wire to pin 24 and returning my original TCU was the key.
Thanks for chimin' in.

On a side note, if I get low voltage on a wire (the green one pin 24) could i just splice into it and run a jumper power of 12v? I don't think this is a good idea because I was thinking it would backtrack and ground out the new power yea?

Either that or it was low because the dimmer does that. Idk
